Many congratulations to our U12 netball team, who were runners up at the Surrey Netball Championships, held at Epsom College on Sunday 28th February. There were twelve schools who qualified and the groups were split into two sections. Our CPS girls showed some fantastic defensive work and some great shooting. They won all three of their matches against Royal Russell School, Alleyns and Tormead, drew against Wimbledon and lost to Surbiton High. The girls then went on to beat Caterham 6-3 in the semi-finals, before meeting Guildford High in the final. After a very close game, particularly in the first half, they lost to Guildford High 6-4.
Well done to all of our team: Matilda B, Maddie G, Matilda H, Imogen P, Francesca S, Olivia B, Annabella A and Jess M. They all contributed to this excellent result and thoroughly deserved their trophy!
