Form 6 ventured to the Swanage/Bournemouth area on an exciting seaside holiday!

We all had the most fantastic time; most of us tried a new experience or conquered a fear. Every day, we woke up and ate a hearty breakfast, preparing us for the full day ahead. Then, we set off on coaches at 9 am each morning for a day full of fun and adventure.

On our first full day, we went to the beach, which was great. Over the week, we did coasteering, jumbo paddle boarding, bushcraft, rock climbing, beach games, and coastal walking.

However, the fun didn’t stop there. Every evening after the activities of the day, the Land and Wave staff set up fun challenges and activities to do. My favourite evening activity was definitely the Mini Olympics. In our groups, we had to put together a welcoming dance and do all kinds of crazy challenges that I’d never done before!

This trip was so memorable. I will never forget the fun and friendships. I tried so many new things, and I have learned lots of new skills. We are all really grateful to Mr Halstead and all of the teachers for giving us such a wonderful week.
