Form 3 have been learning all about chocolate in their Humanities lessons: how the Aztec, Montezuma, drank it for strength, where in the world cacao grows, how chocolate is made and how chocolate can be traded fairly.
This week they welcomed into school local, award winning chocolatier, Joanna Marshall from Kokoh Chocolate. She explained how her Fairtrade company works, demonstrated how she makes her chocolate and, most excitingly of all, taught Form 3 how to taste chocolate like a professional!
