Two mixed teams from Forms 3 and 4 went to Cranleigh School to take part in this year’s exciting VEX robotic challenge.
Five schools were represented with two teams a piece and each battled it out to be named Best Coders, Best Engineers or Best Team by the end of the day.
In order to achieve this they were tasked with completing several challenges. Throughout they had to adapt both their code and their build. The day culminated with the mission of building robots that needed to collect and place triballs and rings in the green and red squares on the platform, within a nail biting 1 minute.
Everyone had a fantastic day and returned to their schools better coders, better engineers and clutching goodie bags of VEX equipment to carry on their learning journeys at home.
