CPS riders had an early start on Sunday morning and then had to battle strong winds to add to the challenges of a strong Eventers Challenge course. Their determination and skill shone through, however, and with a final score of just four penalties across the four rounds, Sophia T; Caia N; Ete M and Rosie S won the 70 qualifier to book a place at Hickstead for the Spring Eventers Challenge Championship. To add to the celebrations, Caia won individually on her second pony to secure another qualification.

In the 80 class Sophia, Ete and Rosie joined Gracie G (CS) and were the first team to go: with all four posting clears they had thrown down the challenge to the other, generally older teams, and were just pipped into second by the final team to go. However, this was still enough to secure a Hickstead qualification and Sophia added an individual one by finishing in fourth out of the 51 riders.

Well done to all the riders in their first Eventers Challenge of the season.
