Here at Cranleigh Prep we welcomed the new Cranleigh School Senior Swim Captains, Jamie T and Lola N-P who made a special appearance and a motivational talk to the Cranleigh Prep swim team in readiness for the Super League 1st round competition, that took place last week, where the Cranleigh School team came 1st with 145 points and new personal best’s against Charterhouse, Downlands and Downsend.

If was especially endearing for all the Cranleigh Prep staff who knew and taught Jamie as a pupil many years ago when he first started at the Prep School aged 7. This is where Jamie started his sporting journey kindling his passion for competitive swimming, he then became Cranleigh Prep School captain and now has reached his pinnacle A’ Level year at Cranleigh Senior school taking up the captaincy once again.

Jamie mentioned to the team how vividly he remembers this informative time in his life, and about how meeting the then current Cranleigh Swim Captain ignited his passion after enjoying a connection with someone who equally loved the same sport.

We thank both Lola and Jamie for taking time out of their busy academic schedule to come to re-ignite the next generation of swimming captains!
