Cranleigh Prep swim team hosted a friendly gala at home this week against one of our main IAPS swim rivals Highfield School.
The poolside was packed with competitors and spectators eagerly waiting for the start of a very busy programme of mixed gender events.
U12 and & U13’s relay races the team finished 1st and 2nd places, well done to the individual fly and breaststroke races who smashed 1st place.
However, Highfield managed to clinch more wins during some very close head to head races.
Last minute we added U10 fly events to which both Eve M and Gwilym L took 1st and 2nd place. Well done.
In the end after the all the goodwill and muster the team could conger up Highfield were the better team on the day.
