On Monday Cranleigh School and Cranleigh Prep took part in the penultimate Super league swim round to face strong rivals from Eastbourne and Christ Hospital.

Cranleigh Prep filled strategic gaps in the selection; well done to those students that swam up two or three age groups in the relays as well as taking on tough 50m individual events. It was great to watch such a strong synergy between the Cranleigh pupils with a collective determination to do their very best.

A special mention goes to Bella W. who stepped in an hour before the coach was leaving to Eastbourne. She was the only girl to swim 50m fly in an intermediate (U16) Medley relay with the Cranleigh School team.

George S. swam up a level into the U14 50m Medley Relay event.

Many congratulations to the combined CS and CPS swim team who have qualified for through to the A final event on 14th March.

Eastbourne – 265 Points
Cranleigh – 233
Christ Hospital – 119

Congratulations to Rafi W. and Clemmie C. our new swimming Captains, and Ronan L. and Zoe R. Vice Captains. As committed role models in their field of sport, they represent Cranleigh Prep School in all swimming events this season.

Many congratulations to the combined CS and CPS swim team who have qualified for through to the A final event on 14th March.

The A Final will be a tough competition against some of the top national swimming schools however the team have smashed the challenge so far and for the first time made a jump from the B Final last year to the A this year.

We are very proud of you all.
