Form 3 visit the Shri Swaminarayam Mandir

June. The pupils were made to feel very welcome by our hosts in the stunning wooden Haveli (cultural complex and prayer rooms) before being taken to the magnificent marble Mandir. The pupils identified and sketched the various Gods that we had been studying in our Humanities project on Hinduism and we witnessed the Arti ceremony within the Mandir itself. After a lunch break in a local park we visited the  World Hinduism exhibition within the Haveli.  This visit added immeasurably to our knowledge and understanding of this ancient religious faith.
