Form 2 was blessed with the weather on their trip to the Look Out Discovery Centre in Bracknell yesterday.
‘Bugs and Beasties’ was the topic of the day and, along with a classroom based workshop identifying insects and arachnids, we were able to traipse through the forest, armed with nets and pots, in search of minibeasts.
Many interesting invertebrates were identified, including a harvestman and plenty of wood ants.
We took full advantage of all the hands-on Science exhibitions on offer and even managed a trip up the look-out tower, with a staggering 88 steps to climb!
No trip would be complete without some well-earned fun in the adventure playground!
