Last week Cranleigh School and Cranleigh Prep School combined swim teams for the first “Grand Final Super League Competition” held at K2 Crawley where a group of 16 top swimming schools in neighbouring counties battled it out for the A and B titles, where we won the B league final.
Due to school calendar priorities Cranleigh had only been able to attend one other meet out of the 4 rounds and 16 galas organised prior to the final so to win the B league final was an incredible feat.
However it was not all about the wins that day but more importantly a life lesson on the power of collaboration and commandry across a wide age group.
Thanks to the Cranleigh Senior team for showing so much support and inclusivity whilst persuading the CPS team to paint faces, swim up age categories and join forces to produce the fastest winning teams.
