Congratulations to the following children who have qualified through to the finals on 8th June at the London Aquatic Centre.
The top 20 teams and individuals go through to the finals.
Girls Small Schools Event (a mix of U10 and U11 girls team) :- 8 x 25m event – they are ranked 8th out of 87 entries for the finals the team comprises of :- Nalah W, Leonie S, Maddie M, Lily B, Florence G, Seren H, Sienna G, Evie M.
Girls U13’s Medley 4 x 25m Relay Team – qualified and ranked 18th in the finals /out of 47 entries to this category. – time of 1.15.78. Team include: – Ariel T, Chloe G, Manon GJ, Alice B.
U13 Girls 50m Individual Breaststroke – Manon GJ – ranked 3rd for the finals out of 51 entries – time 37.98.
U11 Girls individual 50m Breaststroke – Maddie M – qualified through to the final and ranked 1st / 155 – her personal best time of 36.50 (the next placed time was 42.05) beating all the top swim schools in nationally i.e. Millfield, Mount Kelly.
U12 Boys individual 50m Butterfly – Rafi W – ranked 15th /out of 40 entries through to the finals – personal best time of 39.17. He is ranked higher than many top swim schools i.e. Dulwich Prep, Mount Kelly, Feltonfleet, Highfield.
The rest of the IAPS swim team who didn’t quite qualify should be proud as they are ranked within the top 50 children out of 112 entries per category that participated in the regional rounds.
