Today, pupils are raising money for Children in Need through a coin trail. There was great excitement when they saw Mr Perry’s enormous picture of the iconic figure of Pudsey riding a chopper bike in the Art Room. This image was based on Radio 2’s Paddy McGuinness who completed an Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge for this year’s BBC Children in Need, where he cycled from Wrexham to Glasgow on a chopper bike!

Pudsey is the lovable bear created as a mascot for Children in Need in 1985.

Pupils have brought in bags of coins, in varying colours, sizes and value, which they have placed within the picture of Pudsey and the bike. Each year group took turns to do this throughout the day.

Thank you to everyone within our Cranleigh family who have donated coins and helped raise money for Children In Need.
