Excitement levels were high as pupils enjoyed a visit from Jack, a ZooLab ranger.
To enhance their studies on the Amazon Rainforest, he brought along six animals to show them, which included a Mexican tarantula, a white tree frog and a Madagascan cockroach.
The bravest pupils were even able to touch some of the animals (but not the tarantula!)
