Mr Kevin Weaver was appointed as Head of Strings in 2010 and took on the additional role of Head of Academic Music the following year. He is a tutor in Cubitt and coaches cross-country running and athletics. He studied at Cambridge University and the Royal Academy of Music and has been the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards.
Mr Weaver performs regularly as a solo violinist, chamber musician, and freelance orchestral player, as well as leading and fixing for Cranleigh’s resident Merriman Concert Orchestra.
